This is a rugged, young Talisker bottled at cask strength by Diageo for the Special Releases 2024. Aged in casks for eight years, the barrel’s original layers of char were polished away by rocks and water, then lightly re-toasted. The result is a Talisker with hallmark notes of maritime peat, poached pears, and crunchy green apples, giving way to seaweed, and cracked black pepper.
