Taketsuru 17 Nikka is an award-winning whiskey that is now almost impossible to find; a Japanese pure malt that ages for at least 17 years in ex Sherry barrels. This aging gives soft and fruity scents that contrast with the peaty with brackish and iodized notes, thus forming an incredible aromatic balance. Great richness also on the palate, where the initial aggressiveness softens with hints of caramel and sweet spices, a harmonious whiskey that can also be paired with a caviar-based tart.
